年式を考えると比較的、綺麗な方ではあるがオーナー様の拘りエンジンルームの方も綺麗にしてほしいとのご要望。そこで、このままでも雰囲気は充分にあるのだが更にインパクトを出す為にヘッドカバーは耐熱塗料で赤へ再塗装、プラスチック部品はメタルへ変更。

メタル系のメッキ調塗料には大きく分けて2種類が存在し、ひとつは銀を成分としたもの、もうひとつはアルミを成分としたもの。前者は反射率は高いものの、酸化しやすく紫外線で変色したり、黒ずんだりするためトラブルが多いのが難点。その点後者は、反射率では銀に劣りますが、施工後の変色が起こりにくく、耐光性が高いのがポイントです。よって輝度が高く、金属を磨いたような質感に仕上がります。
